Who Are We?
Grounded MCR began on a coffee trike in Cringle Park, serving good coffee to people out walking, meeting friends or getting a bit of fresh air.
What started with coffee and cake quickly became something bigger.
People stayed to chat. Families came back week after week. New friendships formed. We realised that everyday spaces – and really good coffee -could quietly bring people together.
Today, Grounded MCR is an independent café and Community Interest Company serving locally roasted coffee, homemade food and fresh bakes, while reinvesting back into projects that support local people and strengthen the community around us.
